Mountain Biking in Scotland

As much as I love SharePoint it’s not quite as much as fun as mountain biking, particularly here in Scotland. If I’m not preaching or developing gopro-camSharePoint I’m usually trying to persuade people to take up mountain biking. With this in mind I thought it would be a nice idea to share my rides with you. Nothing to do with just wanting another gadget for my bike.

After purchasing a GoPro HERO cam I can now capture all my thrills and spills on the hillside. Here is my first video, I hope its not too bumpy for you.

Scolty Hill 300m, Banchory, Scotland

Great local hill, with lots of alternative biking routes. This particular route is a bit uncharted but recently appeared thanks to some tree felling. (I reduced the video quality for the web, but there’s also a HiRes link below)

My Bike

Currently riding around on a Cube AMS125 Full suspension which has done me well over the last year or so, racking up >1,500 miles off-road and it’s never let me down so far.
